Do I need immigration insurance?

If you are applying for any type of residence permit, you are required to hold an immigration insurance policy, otherwise your application will not be valid and subsequently rejected.

Does a private medical insurance work instead of the immigration insurance?

Although a medical insurance policy has a more comprehensive coverage than the immigration insurance, it is not accepted for residence permit applications.

How long is the immigration insurance valid for?

The immigration insurance policy is valid for 12 months from the commencement date of your policy.

Are there any age restrictions?

Applicants up to the age of 80 can take out the insurance. For applicants who have passed this age, they should ask the immigration officer what else is required for them in place of the immigration insurance.

Do I need to take a medical examination prior to applying for this insurance?

No, a medical examination is not a requirement for this insurance.

What do I need to provide you with for this insurance?

All we need in order to proceed with the policy are the following: a valid passport, proof of address of residence, contact number and email, the date of your appointment with immigration, and if you intend to work in Cyprus - your occupation and profession. If you do not intend to work, select the status corresponding to you: visitor, student, pensioner, housewife, businessman.

How long does the policy take to be ready?

After you have provided us with the necessary details and documentation, we aim to have the policy ready on the same day, in any case no longer than 1 business day.

How do I make a claim on my insurance policy?
